****UPDATE: CANCELLATION OF PREVIOUSLY POSTED RIDE AND LUNCH PLANS AFTER BREAKFAST PREVIOUSLY POSTED and NEW PLANS
Due to the Motorcyle Grand Prix being run at Philllip Island this Sunday 25 September, we are no longer riding from our lunch spot in Tooradin along the Bass Hwy to the Gurdies and inland via rolling hills, finishing with lunch at the Kilcunda Hotel, also on the Bass coast. This is due to the Motorcycle Grand Prix being held at Phillip Island this weekend. This fact had been overlooked in my initial planning.Traffic conjestion getting to the event will significantly slow down our progress from Tooradin to the Gurdies turn off, and returning home after lunch from the Kilcunda hotel also along the Bass Highway.
*****NEW PLANS FOR RIDE AND LUNCH AFTER BREAKAST in TOORADIN AT CAFE ON FORESHORE
Following our breakast at Cafe on Foreshore, Tooradin, we willl be doing a ride to Stoney Point and the wharf where the Stoney Point ferry leaves from, which takes visiters and others to French Island, situaled in Western Port Bay.After that we ride to Flinders Hotel via a stop off at Flinders Pier.
**These changed plans will still enable Gipplsland members to attend for breakfast but maybe not the planned ride afterwards and changed lunch spot now in Flinders. I apologise for that. I hope to engage you on a future ride into Gippsland and possible breakfast and/or lunch and ride together.
