Adventure ride - Alexandra, Eildon Weir and Cheviot Tunnel - 1 March 2020 at Britannia Mall, Mitcham

March 1, 2020 from 8:30am to 5pm
Ride DescriptionThis is a cracker of a ride with plenty of variety and a bit of adventure thrown in. It was originally planned as a ride for club’s adventurer group last year. It was a hoot and now we wish to open it up for our more experienced members who have no qualms about riding 30-40-kms of dirt road. We depart from Mitcham taking pretty back roads as we make our way towards Warburton. Just outside the town on the slopes of Mount Donna Buang we find The Archeron Way, a beautiful narrow…See More

Ride DescriptionFor those of you who are around mid-January, this shortish half-day ride through cool green hills to the far side of the Dandenong Ranges will offer a welcome respite from the heat of a Melbourne summer. It is suitable for all scooters and levels of experience. At 125-kms, absolute beginners might consider this to be a longish ride but it is easily doable. The ride will be taken at a leisurely pace so that we can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The route is very different from…See More

Friday is going to be a doozy - I have a huge 3rd year project for school that's to be handed in that day, however should be clear by say, 4 o'clock? How does that suit?

"Introduce our Vespas to each other" - just picturing dogs in the park warily sniffing each other's bums!

Hi Michael. I remember Pat. I built his scooter when it was owned by another guy. Then I saw it a while later at a garage getting a roadworthy after Pat had bought it, and I did some work on it for him. That was a while ago. I wasn't sure if he still had it.

Are you available Friday 11th? Ballarat Show day public holiday. Catch up for a coffee and introduce our Vespas to each other.
