Introducing my 68 Vespa Sprint "Bella"

Those of you who have been following the posts from Vincent about the 68 Sprint refurbish will be interested to note that the project has been completed and "Bella" now has 65km on her newly refurbished odometer. Bella is the third Vespa to join our family after my daughter bought her 2014 sprint then my got her PX. I ride big bikes: no one was ever going to see me on a Vespa. The PX changed that and when the 68 came along (a dastedly plot hatched by Denise and Roberto), I was hooked albeit on…See More

disc lock recommendations for PX

Hi everyone, I'm chasing a lock solution for Denise's PX with front disc.  I've done a bit of HW and a disc lock is generally recommended due to it's diminutive size. However, we've tried a few locks and none of them fit in the tight space between the 10" wheel and disk. The hole for the pin is not a problem but clearance is.What lock solutions have people tried that work?DarrenSee More

Hi Daren

Our next breakfast meet at Brunetti's in Swanston Street would be a good meet to get to to see a wide variety of Vespas and talk to the members for lots of good advice... bring the family also... it will be our last breakfast there as this café will be demolished making way for the east west link sadly....

Hi Julie, a GTS would be a nice ride. We have just purchased a 2014 150 Sprint for our daughter so I'm looking for something at the lower end of our budget :)
At the moment, I'm trying to get a handle on the various models and variants. I would like to pop along at a ride or gathering some time to look at some vespas to help with my research. I'll keep an eye on the events page to see if there is something I might come along to. Any suggestions welcomed.

I would suggest you go for a GTS 300 or the last of the 250's..Vespa House have a few left...that way you are set for all types of riding.  You will be hard pressed to find a good ET4 these days...

There might be a lovely slate grey primavera 150 2016 model for sale soon....if you are interested I could contact that person...??

Hi Julie, thanks for the warm welcome :)
Re: model. I'm not quite sure yet. Our daughter recently purchased a sprint 150 and my wife is intersted in getting back into riding. I ride BMWs but would love to have a vespa to ride with my daughter and wife. Budget is limited but happy to work on a bike too. Just doing my research at this point. Was thinking of an ET4 perhaps ??
