I hope to make it on one of the club trips this year. Maybe the Grampians ...
I'm in the middle of planning my route for my Tassie trip in February. I've taken the Scoot down there a few times before so won't be a massive tour, but will take different roads.
Firstly, I am full of admiration for the wonderful job you are doing as President of the Vespa club.
I have actually been a non-active member of the club since 2016. I am keen to join in the Great Ocean Road ride on 3 February, but could not work out how to put my name down on the site for the trip. This is why I enrolled. Could you tell me how to do that. Many thanks, David Runia
I am now learning the gentle art of sending messages to members via our club website - very exciting. I recall that our lead rider from Geelong for the wonderful ride last Sunday, Tufan (??) wore a GoPro camera with a chest strap. I am thinking of buying such a thing in the near future and I wondered if you would be so kind to forward me his details that I could contact him directly to learn more.
I noticed also during the ride that a number of members (including you I think) had aftermarket exhausts fitted to their scooters. My ideal scooter is the motor of the 300 shoehorned into a small frame - ala my Sprint 150. Whilst more top end would be good, I do love the low end grunt for blasting away at the lights. How have you found your aftermarket exhaust has changed the performance of your scooter (if my memory is indeed correct)?
Can you recall any member who has such an exhaust for their 150cc Vespa?
Hi Julie
Great day on Sunday. Loved that pub! Thanks again.
Re this Sunday, what time roughly are we likely to get back to Melb do you think?
Cheers
Brett
Hi Julie. I’m interested in the vacancy on the committee for the webpage and communications role. Could you tell me a bit about what is expected and required to do the role?

Thanks for the welcome Julie. I’m not sure yet about Sunday’s meetup. My daughter is in a netball competition and I’m torn between the 2.
