A Dream of Autumn

The Vespa Club of Melbourne rides throughout the year. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, we are out there riding somewhere. In fact we have rides with themes that welcome and celebrate the coming and going of the seasons. Our "Autumn Celebration Ride" has been one of these annual club events.

Autumn is a lovely time to ride. With still, settled weather, warm sun on the face, cool sweet air to breath, perhaps a morning fog, a chill late in the afternoon and those glorious colours of the turning of the leaves - sublime.

This year however, we must forego that pleasure as these glorious days of autumn riding pass us by. We understand that it is for the benefit of all of us, of course, and we are lucky indeed to live in a country that seems to be managing the current challenge better than most.

So here are some memories of past Autumn riding. They come with the promise that we will all ride together again one day - and how sweet that will be. See you on the other side, David

Some wonderful memories here David, and sadly we are missing some of the best riding weather of the year.  Everyone, take the time to get out into the fresh air and look around you to see the colors coming in on the trees... make the most of this down time you are expected to be having, and get ready for when we can all get together and ride again.

Thank you David for sharing these wonderful Club experiences.
