To celebrate National Motoring Heritage Day, the Association of Motoring Clubs is having a Cavalcade of Transport display at the Trentham Railway Station on May 17th. Organised by Cool Country Classics of Trentham.
Meet at APCO/McDonalds, Bacchus Marsh, to fuel up on petrol & coffee, ready to ride out at 9am.
Ride to Trentham via the Pentland Hills road to Myrniong, Greendale, Blackwood to Trentham. Take part in the display (entry at 10am for display vehicles)
The event runs until 3pm.
There are lots of opportunities for good food etc in Trentham and ways to pass the time, before we ride back via Ballan and along the railway line with views of the Werribee Gorge, to Bacchus Marsh to refuel and head home.
Open to all scooters and riders.
Mostly 80 kph limit country roads. There is a short freeway bit for about 1km.
It'd be great to see as many classics as possible for the display.
