Event Description

Central Melbourne Riders. Meet Shakespeare Grove St Kilda. Legal parking on Chaucer St corner and free spot in carpark opposite. We'll breakfast at Sister of Soul. Depart 9 am sharp to be at Cafe Moto to join the ride out.

Eastern Riders. Breakfast at Cafe Moto Carrum. Depart at 10 am. We start our day with a meet up at our favourite bike themed hangout - Café Moto, in Carrum. Join us for breakfast from 8.30am, or arrive between then and our departure time of 10am sharp.

From there we head to 16 Beach General Store (414 Tasman Dr, Rye 5985 8373) for brunch or coffee and listen to some live jazz in the courtyard.

From there we head to Number 16 Beach carpark which is opposite the general store and walk down to the beach, and depending on the tide, lots of fabulous rock pools.

We finish the afternoon with a ride to Hickinbotham of Dromana, a scenically located rustic styled winery for another coffee or maybe a wine. Nick Charles is scheduled to play from 1pm, so we will hopefully catch him as well. (Nick Charles is labelled internationally as “Australia’s virtuoso of acoustic roots and blues” (From Hickinbotham's website)

Looking forward to the ride today and catching up with everyone.

Very pleasant day today for the ride.  max 25C.  Rain later this evening so will be keeping clear of that on the Peninsular and ride back home.

You may want to pack lighter clothes including bathers for walk down to the beach and rock pools.

Cheers :)
