Hi Mark

How's things?

Mark I was wondering if you had any leads on Peter Western? As I haven't had any luck yet  getting in contact,I would really like to contact him and find out the history of his old VNB.

I see from a quick look on the net the Raleigh Britain used cloth and shellac 1940s and 50s (also common on bicycles here)

I wonder if the brains trust of the VVC would have the answer of factory

I had a weird black throttle cable on mine with a metal u bend, on the carb end - I suspect it was someone reusing a push bike rear derailer cable as a throttle cable: I have kept it but I will not use, it's a bit too chewed

Have you posted in the VVC Facebook or website page the question

Oh that's right your not into Facebook

You should join up - quick pictures and questions like this - are easier to answer

If you send me a picture - I could post in VVC on your behalf?

Hi Mark

Bob called by on his way home to drop off the stands, thank you so much, wow you really have put some extra work into these ones... I am sure they will go like hotcakes again.  Looks like everyone had a great weekend at the rally and are all arriving home safe and sounds.  Glad you got to meet some of our members and many others from Melbourne.

Cheers Julie
