Thank you for bringing this to my attention ,although I’m completely aware of the price of a Bacchetta and the rarity of the parts and expenses involved.
Bacchetta is what I’m after not a Douglas.

I was wondering if you had chosen a cylinder kit for the VNB?
My Reason for asking is that I'm thinking of up grading the VNB5T 125cc to a 177cc, but not sure.
Its a number matching bike and I'm a little on the fence…"
Mark I was wondering if you had any leads on Peter Western? As I haven't had any luck yet getting in contact,I would really like to contact him and find out the history of his old VNB."
Good morning Mark
Yes I had spoken to Mark carter a couple of times and he is trying to get in contact with Peter westend, once he does make contact he will forward my details on to Peter.
Mark thank you very much for helping me.
The vespa is a 1960 VNB . So Tiffany is the lady selling it who bought it from a Andrew 3-4 year ago and Andrew brought it from a Peter Westend 6years ago.
Peter westend apparently restored the vespa and is a SA vespa club member.
Mark send me your email address and I will send some photos.
Luke if it helps I am in SA and I know some goo people here and if you like I can give you there contacts and they may know the history of the scooter you are looking at or if I can help please ask....
There isn't a Vespa Club in SA, and I've never heard of Peter Westend. Beware of the representations people make. Please send the photos and we'll assist you, or you can point us to the advertisement for sale. In the meantime, don't put your money down.
Hi Gr eg
I can't get a photo at the moment, but will try and get you one shortly. So I was told by the previous owner that the scooter Vespa VNB 125 CC's 1960 year built was restored buy a Peter WestEnd who is a Vespa member in South Australia.
I was unable to find a Peter westend in South Australia but I found Peter Petzmann at your club in Melbourne and thought I may have heard wrong incorrect.
