"Hi Ants, Might have to revisit what I was thinking and go with normal width tubeless rims and split rim spare does sound like a good happy medium. I havent made a decision yet as its a nice to have but either thanks for the feedback."

"Yep definitely going to settle with the split rims, rarely have had a puncture probably 3 in 30, 000 km so not lots of problems and based on this good advice I will stick with those and just get chromed or polished ones."

"I have to agree with the master below Darren, once you start changing one thing on a vespa you will find you need to keep going until you almost rebuild the whole thing... not sure it is such a good idea.  "
