It’s been far too long, so it’s time to point the Vespas towards the hills and make the VCoM pilgrimage back to Lake Mountain

One cracking day on the Vespas.

We’ll meet at **Britannica Mall in Mitcham at 8:45am** for coffee, catch-ups and the usual pre\-ride banter, with a **9:15am sharp departure**

Then the fun starts

First up, **the Black Spur** — sweeping bends, towering mountain ash and one of Victoria’s most iconic stretches of road.We’ll grab some fuel at Narbethong before turning towards **Lake Mountain**, climbing all the way to the top for the traditional VCoM pilgrimage to the mountain.

Then comes the run back down before taking on **Reefton Spur** — kilometres of twists, turns and brilliant riding before rolling into the Reefton Pub for a very well earned lunch.

After lunch, we’ll head home through Warburton and Mt Evelyn

Twisty roads, alpine scenery,  cornering, plenty of laughs and a convoy of Vespas doing exactly what they were built to do.

Fuel up, Check the tyres, Find the gloves .8:45am meeting 9:15am departarture

The mountain is calling… and VCoM is going. 🏔️🛵🇮🇹

     Hi Steve, regretably I will not be going on the ride tomorrow.  I am not well and need to rest.  Hopefully I will be well enough to attend on Sunday for the Italian Festa in the city.  Have a great ride along with your fellow riders.  I was really looking forward to it, given that I was not able to attend last year (or was it the year before??).
